Membership Types

Annual memberships for Adult and Youths are available.  

A full AMA membership is required to join. Park Pilot and trial memberships are not accepted.

Adult Membership

Adult Pilots enjoy full flying privileges seven days a week as well as the ability to sponsor guest flyers and spectators.

$200/Yr.

A one-time $50 initiation fee applies to all new members.

Youth Membership

Youth Pilots enjoy full flying privileges seven days a week. Must be 19 years old or under to apply.

$100/Yr.

A one-time $50 initiation fee applies to all new members.

AMA Flyer Guest Pass 

This pass is for out-of-town members of other AMA Clubs who are traveling to the area.

$50/Mo.

(Some Restrictions Apply)

All Memberships Include:

  • WMFC Membership Card with AMA Number

  • Gate Access to the WMFC Air Field

  • A community of supportive and Encouraging members

  • Learn from experienced pilots and instructors

  • Participate in fly-ins and social gatherings

How To Join

New Members

To join, fill out the form to request and submit a membership application for review and verification. A full AMA membership is required (no Park Pilot or trial memberships). Once approved, you’ll receive a payment link, and after payment is confirmed, your membership card and benefits package will be issued.

Existing Members

You can renew your membership at any time through the Membership Renewal page.

The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) is the national organization that represents and supports model aviation in the United States. AMA provides liability insurance, establishes safety guidelines, and works to develop and protect flying sites and the future of RC flying.

Our club is an AMA-chartered club, which means we operate under AMA safety rules and insurance coverage. AMA membership is required to join our club so that all members are properly insured, follow standardized safety practices, and help support the hobby nationwide.
